CPAP Full Face Masks
A full face CPAP mask is any mask system that covers both the mouth and the nose to deliver air for the PAP treatment. They are generally used on patients who have higher pressures that can’t be tolerated with a nasal mask, or patients who do not want to wear a chin strap to help keep the mouth from coming open during the night to prevent loss of PAP pressure, or for patients who are primarily mouth breathers.

CPAP Nasal Masks
A nasal CPAP mask is any mask system that covers just the nose to deliver air for the PAP treatment. Nasal masks are generally used with a chin strap to prevent the air from going in the nasal passage and directly out of the mouth, thus eliminating the benefit of the PAP treatment.

Real People. Real Results.
I was really impressed with your sense of urgency that I get my CPAP machine for better sleep. I have benefited over these past two weeks and am most grateful. Many people will be able to sleep better at night because of your CPAP services.
I allowed my machine to become neglected because I was afraid of how much it would cost – so my sleeping has been more of a problem over the last few years. I’m excited to get a new machine and mask and be able to sleep through the night again.
In the past, I’ve had problems getting proper masks and supplies. You went the extra mile, obtaining the replacement part the supplier I bought it from would not honor. Thank you again for your superior service.
Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder that is characterized by lapses of breathing during sleep. The symptoms of sleep apnea include loud snoring and daytime sleepiness. A doctor can order a sleep study to help in the diagnosis of this disorder. The most common type of sleep apnea is obstructive (OSA), which is where there is a partial blockage of the air passageway during sleep. The other, more rare types of sleep apnea are central (CSA) and mixed. CSA is a lack of respiratory effort and mixed is a combination of both types.
Sleep apnea equipment can be used to help alleviate the symptoms of sleep apnea. ResMed CPAP machines, Respironics CPAP machines, and Fisher & Paykel CPAP machines are the largest device manufacturers. The machines use air to open an obstructed airway. The primary types of PAP machines are CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure), BiPAP (bilevel positive airway pressure) and CPAP auto machine (auto-adjusting pap device).
CPAP supplies are used in conjunction with the devices and include items such as CPAP tubing, CPAP filters and CPAP pillows. These items should be replaced at regular intervals to prevent respiratory diseases and infections caused by dirty items. We recommend changing CPAP supplies every three months.
Sleep apnea masks are worn while sleeping to facilitate the delivery of the continuous positive airflow. CPAP masks come in all different types and sizes, including full face CPAP masks, nasal cushion CPAP masks and nasal pillow CPAP masks. Your Americare personal care specialist will help you select the perfect mask for you. We carry all the top brands, including ResMed CPAP masks, Respironics CPAP masks, and Fisher & Paykel CPAP masks.
